Stenciling On Roller Blind
Home » Stencils
Supplies:
- Stencils ( choose the design that you like )
- Soft Stencil brushes
- Drop cloth
- Spray adhesive
- Masking tape
- Water-based stencil paint ( colour that you prefer
)
- Palette
Instructions:
- Step 1.
- Lay the blind over the drop cloth on a table. Remove the wooden dowel at the blind base and the cord holder.
- Step 2.
- Spray the back of the stencil with adhesive, position and smooth it.
- Step 3.
- If the fabric colour is dark, first apply white stencil paint to the complete stencil design, using a swirling motion technique.
- Step 4.
- After you've done this, peel back part of the stencil to check that all areas have been painted. When you're satisfied, let this first coat of paint dry for a few minutes.
- Step 5.
- Paint the design. When the stencil is removed, the colours applied over the white background will show up better.
- Step 6.
- When the paint is completely dry, replace the dowel and cord holder and hang the blind.
