Charming glasses or mugs

Supplies:
- Stencils
- Masking tape
- Clear glass or mug
- Ceramic paints
- Spray adhesive
- Soft Stencil brushes
- Drop cloth
Instructions:
- Step 1.
- Put the glasses or mugs over a drop cloth on a table.
- Step 2.
- Spray the back of the stencil with adhesive, position and smooth it onto the glass. Use strips of masking tape to hold each corner of the stencil in place.
- Step 3.
- With the soft brush and paint, apply the first colour using swirling stroke. Use the brush almost dry, and build up coats as hightlights using the stippling method.
- Step 4.
- When you have finished the first design and the paint is dry, position the second stencil and apply the paint for it in the same way.
- Step 5.
- Remember to remove the masking tape as soon as your stenciling is complete. It can be difficult to remove if you let paint dry on it.
