- Step 1.
- Cut a narrow rectangular frame out of paper that matches the background paper. The frame should be should be slightly smaller than the photo it will encase.
- Step 2.
- Run leaf-patterned paper through an adhesive machine to apply adhesive before cutting out the individual leaves.
- Step 3.
- Fasten the leaves to the frame, occasionally raising leaves with foam adhesive.
- Step 4.
- Crop and mat additional photos and title bar.
- Step 5.
- Die-cut leaves from fall-coloured paper and fasten them to the page where journaling will be placed.
- Step 6.
- Tear a piece of vellum, journal in a black pen, and attach over the die-cut leaves with a nail head in each corner.
Note: Layering with paper is a simple yet effective way to add dimension to scrapbook pages.
