Acrylic paint or polyurethane( water or oil based)
Mod Podge
Sand paper
Decoupage design ( wallpaper, wrapping paper, greeting card, or fabric)
Supplies:
Step 1. Sand any rough spots on the rim, bottom edge, and outside of the pot.
Step 2. Seal the inside pot with oil or water based polyurethane-2-3 coats-let dry ( if you wish to use for planting)
Step 3. Paint the outside of the pot in the base color of your choice with acrylic paint -2-3 coats and set to dry.
Step 4. Glue your decoupage design on your pot or you can stencil them too.
Step 5. Mod Podge is a good sealant as well as an adhesive. You can finish you project with apply a coat of mod podge over it or vanish them with outdoor vanish.
