A low Oriental-style china container bursts forth with a lush collection of springtime favorites.
- Step 1.
- Trim the base material with a knife to fit the container. The top should be even with the opening of the container.
- Step 2.
- Glue the base material inside container so it fills the opening completely.
- Step 3.
- Cover the base with green Spanish moss. Secure with floral U-pins.
- Step 4.
- Cut tulips to 13" and 11". Insert vertically in the back left corner.
- Step 5.
- Insert plum blossoms to right of tulips to a height of 18".
- Step 6.
- Insert the hycinth in the corner of the arrangement.
- Step 7.
- Insert the forsythia in the right rear corner.
- Step 8.
- Insert the African violet in the left front corner so it hangs over the front to the container slightly.
- Step 9.
- Fill in with the white and pink wax flower, green filler flowers and seeded eucalyptus.
Note:In vegetative designs, floral materials are arranged so they resemble growing plants. Only flowers that bloom in the same season would be used together in a vegetative design.
