Canning jars, old medicine bottles, even glass baby bottles are great containers for arrangements.

Supplies:

Container :

Glass jar

Flowers & foliage :

5 black-eyed suans
6 orange and yellow small daisy type flowers
5 orange ranunculus
Red orange berry sprays
Assorted grasses, herbs and ivy

Other supplies & tools:

Wire cutters
Green split peas
Optional: clear packaging tape

Instructions:

Step 1.: Fill the jar within 1/2" of the opening with green split peas and pack the peas tightly in the jar.
Step 2.: Option: To keep the peas from spilling, cover the opening with clear tape and insert the stems through the tape into the pea.
Step 3.: Insert one black-eyed susan centered to a height of about 10" from the opening of the jar.
Step 4.: Insert a circle of three black-eyed susan to a height of 7" around the tallest one.
Step 5.: Add the remainig black-eyed susan slightly above the container opening. Shape all the flower stems so they point outward.
Step 6.: Fill in around the black-eyed susans with ranunculus.
Step 7.: Follow with assorted foliage.
Step 8.: Add the orange daisies.
Step 9.: Insert cluster of berries.
