Supplies:
- House stamp
- "Party" stamp
- Folded white greeting card
- Black solvent ink
- Dye ink, various bright colours
- Black permanent marker
- Eclipe tape
- Craft knife
- Ruler
Instructions:
- Step 1.
- Ink the house stamp with black solvent ink and stamp the image onto the right-hand edge of a folded white greeting card.
- Step 2.
- Open the card and lay it out flat. Using the straight edge of the ruler and a craft knife cut a border through the house, taking care not to detatch the house from the front of the card.
- Step 3.
- Cut out the windows, door and around the right side of the house. The house becomes the right-hand border of the card.
- Step 4.
- Outline the edges of the house image with black permanent marker.
- Step 5.
- Mask off the inside of the card with Eclipse tape, exposing only the far right edge. Stamp the edge with dye inkpads in varying colours. Remove the mask and allow the ink to dry.
- Step 6.
- Mask off the front of the card, exposing only the bottom edge. Ink the " party" stamp with brightly coloured dye inks and stamp along the bottom of the card.
- Step 7.
- To finish the card, use a ruler and black permanent marker to draw a line above the "party" stamps.
