Supplies:
- 20-gauge ( 0.8mm) copper wire
- Small crystal beads ( any colour)
- Tiny silver beads
- Wire cutter
- Round-nosed pliers
Instructions:
- Step 1.
- Pull the end of the wire out from the coil and thread your chosen bead onto the wire.
- Step 2.
- Allow just under 1cm on each side of the bead, and cut this length with the wire-cutter.
- Step 3.
- Thread the wire with the bead, then, holding the wire vertically, use the very tips of the round-nosed pliers to bend the wire to a right angle where it touches the bead.
- Step 4.
- Place the pliers about three-quarters of the way up the wire, gripping it tightly, and curl it into a circle, molding it around the circular shaft of the pliers.
- Step 5.
- Turn the bead around and form another link at the other side, in exactly the same way.
- Step 6.
- Do threading a few beads and do same for the silver beads too.
- Step 7.
- Using flat-nosed pliers, open on of the loops slightly sideway, link it into another and close and secure it tightly. Ensure all the links are facing in the same direction. Alternate the small crystal beads with the silver one.
